- I hail from the Friendly North Island of Fiji (Vanua Levu) then moved to the Burning West (Viti Levu) and finally to Aotearoa (New Zealand).
- My family is my hidden treasure, strength, reflection, and happiness. It consists of my husband, three beautiful children, a daughter-in-law, and three amazing grandchildren.
- Rich culture and traditions are deeply rooted in me. I believe in the teachings of Lord Shiva and the Bhagavad Gita. It helps me to live a life with purity, strength, discipline, honesty, kindness, and integrity.
- By wearing a saree, I embrace my culture and heritage. It is a symbol of timeless beauty and gives me a retro look with the ‘pallu’ in the front. I love wearing a saree adorned with complete jewellery.
- “Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.” Oprah Winfrey). I am a lover of art and craft. Although I am inspired by other artists like Andy Goldsworthy who uses natural materials to create amazing things – he is my favourite artist. I enjoy singing, reciting hymns, and listening to 80’s and 90’s Hindi super hits.
