- Bokkie Shirt and Big Five Fridge Magnet – I am from South Africa, and my home language is Afrikaans. One of my favourite places to visit is the Kruger National Park. It always reminds me of how incredibly God created the earth and all its intricate details.
- Camera – “Today’s moments are tomorrow’s memories.” Making memories with family and friends is important to me. Taking pictures allows me to cherish those special moments for years to come.
- Music – I love listening to and dancing (Sokkie) to my favourite Afrikaans songs. Nothing makes me enjoy life more than a great Sokkie! P.S. It also helps with homesickness.
- Stationery – One of my weaknesses is that I cannot resist a cute set of sticky notes paired with a fancy little pen for writing down my favourite quotes and Bible verses.
- Puzzle – In my spare time, I love building puzzles. This is a tradition I shared with my grandmother and mother on weekends and holidays. “Life is a puzzle. Every piece fits together to create who we are, what we do, and how we feel. Every experience shapes us into who we will eventually become.”
